Special Interests: Women’s Health, Contraception, Public Health
I was born in Plymouth and after graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Human Biosciences and Sports & Exercise Science, I studied post-graduate medicine at Warwick University.
I have been at Portishead Medical Group since I qualified as a GP, initially as a salaried GP, and now a Partner. It is a wonderful place to work, and I am honoured to be surrounded by inspiring colleagues and interesting patients. I am passionate about providing personalised care and have special interest in women’s health, lifestyle medicine, and public health.
Within the practice, my roles include Dementia and Carer lead as well as mentoring nursing staff on their pathway to becoming advanced practitioners. I also sit on the board for our PCN, Gordano Valley.
If I’m not at the surgery, you will often find me getting lost in the hills with my cocker spaniel Rudy, or by the beach.
