I have been a salaried GP at Portishead Medical Group now for 5 years.  I really enjoy my job; it is a privilege to work here and be part of this hardworking and caring team.

I grew up in the South West, qualified as a doctor in Nottingham in 2006, since then I worked in hospital medicine (acute care, oncology, paediatrics, obstetrics) and then gained experience in general practice training in a variety of regions around the UK. I have lived in this area now for 6 years with my family.

I am passionate about good medicine and general practice, particularly emergency care, palliative care, postnatal health, and mental health.

Outside the practice I teach at Bristol University Medical School and do telemedicine work.
