After studying medicine at the University of Edinburgh and graduating in 1996, I did my GP training in the South West. I have been working at Portishead Medical Centre since 2002 and I have been a partner since 2004. I am passionate about general practice being at the forefront of a strong NHS. I am interested in the skills of being a generalist and in training the next generation of GPs. I am involved in the local NHS structures, sitting on the board of our PCN (primary care network), locality board, and the board that represents GPs at the regional level.
Outside of GP I love walking, cycling and anything that involves the sea.
